I am on the last segment of Tsavo.

I am trying to figure out how to end it. Was going to attempt to bail out of my Chopper mid air, launching off the downed Pelican, and FRG the Plasma Canon and energy barrier before landing. Unfortunately, you don't get enough air off the jump and you get ripped to shreds upon landing.

Tsavo Highway is complete!

I will post a rough edit to get an estimate of the final time.

Here's the ending. I get a nice boost from one of our Brute buddies. The time on the film is just for that clip.

I am re-running Tsavo.

The first segment is already 4 seconds faster, and 1 second faster than our best run.

Tsavo Highway is once again complete!

Time is 3:27 in 6 segments (last version was 8). Current records are Easy 3:19, Normal 3:24, Heroic 3:34, Legendary 3:34.

I got lucky and saved a segment by making the gap jump on the first try. The run could have been 2 seconds quicker but the Brute Shot guy was out of position and wasn't able to boost me to the downed Pelican like in the last run. The blockade area was brutal (get it?) and was fully alert much too early. In most passes i would die instantly after dismounting. I tried to make up for it by chancing a blind grenade toss to take down the final barrier.

Films are in my Halo 3 File Share.

Thank you.

If i get bored sometime between now and the completion of the project i might go after those last 3 seconds. I will be sure to end with the same weapon carryover as this run.

Awesome. Is this final?

Be sure to save the films! Disney's got my Mac Pro, but when I get it back I can cap these in HD with surround sound. I don't have a gold account right now either, so just save the films and I'll get them all at once using a 2 day trial or something. It's gonna be a while, so you don't have to keep them there right now NOKYARD.

Yes, final.

I have all the films saved in my file share with the segment positions marked in the description. The films are from :44 to 12:33 in length so there will be minimal fast forwarding.

I just realized the Halo 3 file shares are no longer updating (they were when i first tested the procedures for this project) so the best way to get the files to you is to have runners send you a XBL msg (or have them on your Friends List). You can then access their Halo 3 file shares from their profile in-game.
