My run is around 4 seconds faster than the current record when comparing them side by side but the time of the film is 4 seconds slower at 3:38. I also found some areas where i can cut a few seconds with smoother driving.
[edit] I am re-running Tsavo. I expect the weapon carryover to be slightly different.

I remembered that I actually have quite a lot of experience on this level. So I've decided to do a draft run. Not sure what the time is yet, but it should come in under the current Legendary run.
The FRG came in handy at the first lakebed for clearing the enemies on top of the little hut. I lost some time compared to the Heroic run cus I had to drive around the remains of some Phantoms I destroyed in the second lakebed. I remembered that one of the reasons I never got a good Legendary run down was that it takes an extra missile to kill the Scarab, so using the missle pod like I did on Normal and Heroic never seemed to work because the Scarab turns too fast. You have to board it instead which of course costs time as you have drive back to the door.
Recording now, will edit and upload a sample when that's finished.
EDIT:
The Storm Legendary Segmented in 6:48*
*6:48 is an approximation to the in-game timer, which would start about 8 seconds into the video. From black-to-black it's more like 6:55.

I meant the one directly above mine – where it says 18 FRG but the image shows 13. I don't think you can jump up there – the two ends aren't symmetrical.
Dark, can you please make a post in this thread? The main reason I did my run was because I thought no-one else was interested in this level.
