Mr. Monopoli is on a roll, shaving an impressive 12 seconds off the Legendary run of The Great Journery. He greatly optomizes the race to Tartarus, getting there 43 seconds faster(!) off the previous run with some great ghost manuvering. His ghost takes such a beating, I’m surprised it survives without blowing up. Mr. Monopoli opts for his trusty Plasma Rifles to take Tartarsus down, and finishes under 9 minutes with at ime of 8:56!

This level was tougher than I expected. The first part where you must blow up the wraiths is pretty inconsistent. After getting a ghost through the corridors, I turn around to deload the enemies that spawn in the new wraiths. I then fly a banshee to the finish and take out Tartarus.

From the High Speed Halo news post:

“Two new runs have been added to The Unique Runs Page this week. The Heretic Leader Battle in 1:20 and The Co-op Tartarus Battle in 2:12.

Sczee puts his Sword-Flying skills to good use by following the Heretic Leader into the ceiling vents. Just so you know, the Heretic Leader cannot take damage while he is talking.

The Co-op Tartarus Battle is from themann1086 and IrishMann313. In this battle Player 1 first provides sniper cover for Player 2, then switches to aerial cover.”

Cody Miller’s Tartarus Battle is taken from his Full Game Legendary No Death run. This is the last few minutes of three and a quarter hours of non-stop Legendary play.

Tartarus Battle

Rules: Player must not die. Must be on Legendary. Filming must start from the checkpoint on the upper platform that sarge shoots from and end a few seconds into the cutscene that plays after Tartarus dies.
