High Speed Halo

Added a random box launch that i came up with 5 mins beforehand, didn’t nail it so it ended up costing me a second. The second box launch is also new and i hit it almost perfectly, at that point i was slightly faster than my legendary run. The 3rd launch (first one of the leg run) was slightly better than the leg run launch but still didn’t go in the doorway. After the middle cutscene my slide jump is screwed by a dying elite who swings a hammer, this seems to be a glitch because there is only one hammer on this level. The box that i spike grenaded for my next launch didn’t land right so wasted time. The final launch was better in terms of velocity and height however the direction was too far to the right wasting up to 4 seconds. I forgot how to do the final slide jump so i screwed it up and wasted 5 seconds. I’m just happy that T3h Boar doesn’t have all the easy runs again :p

EnsnaredCadaver starts off with an improvement of his Pacifist Floodgate run, showing that jumping on explosive cores is the safest way to go. He makes it look like he’s doing an Easy difficulty run and finishes in just 4:15.

Likewise, Pahis shows his confidence in his SLASO abilities with a impressive Floodgate run that is, surprisingly, only 9 seconds slower than current legendary record at 4:11. Also, be sure to check out the mammoth improvement of his Tsavo Highway run of over 12 minutes; its just 6:55 now. Our servers thank you.”

This run was featured in the Guinness World Records 2010: Gamers Edition at the top of page 49! Heres an excerpt:
