LotsofLuck

So much to do, so little time.

LotsofLuck has brought the Heroic Maw run down to a time of 8:51, mostly due to creative grenade use, including a toss in the bridge to kill the Grunts so obvious, that it’s amazing it hadn’t been done yet. Did you know you can go THROUGH the elevator? I do now after seeing this!

For some reason, the sound is pretty quiet, so crank up the volume.

IrishMann313 returns with another mysterious guest to run Uprising on Easy, bringing the level time by down 9 seconds. The run makes good use of sword flies, but is the sound is a little quiet, so crank your speakers up!

Also, I (LotsofLuck) finally get another couple of runs in, with two runs of 343 Guilty Spark, clocking the Easy run in at 5:40 and the Normal run in at 5:48. A new grenade jump, new way to elevator slide might make the run worth watching ;)

Finally, a warm welcome to EvilHomer with his first speedrun to High Speed Halo with a run of High Charity of Easy coming in with a time of 4:17. The run makes use of several sword flies and cancels, but EvilHomer appears to make them with ease. I look forward to his future speedruns!

LotsofLuck improves his old time on The Maw Easy by 6 seconds, making it the fastest run on the Level. All the newest tricks and speed-ups are used, including driving the warthog right to the Longsword Fighter. This run is also a good example of how we should be watermarking our runs*, as it seems these days more and more people are posting them on sites such as YouTube**. A time of 8:14 replaces the old record.

*HSH, in general, does not watermark its runs. Over the years on screen watermarks have occasionally been used, typically with the name of the runner, its time, and a shoutout to HSH. It never became a standard practice however.

**Starting in 2010, we posted runs on Youtube ourself. :)
